Running with God
Is God just a state of mind? If an athlete wins a gold medal and says, “God gave me the strength!” Is that entirely true?
All kinds of athletes win all the time, with or without God. Some say, “You have God. I have Gatorade.” And it seems to work the same. Therefore, is faith in God a mere placebo, that can push athletes beyond their physical limits?
I’ll put it this way. Sure, you can win with God. Or you can win without God. That is up to you, whichever way you want to think.
But if God does not want you to win, all he has to do is tweak a muscle. You get an injury that sidelines you for 60 days. End of story.
So one day, you win a race. I reckon you’d better thank God.

Hm.. i like your post and really it forced to think me the other way. As per my view, everyone has a strength to do a particular job. As an athlete had practiced a lot for running miles and over, he knows his limits & strength. But it’s a human tendency and faith in the God that he always used his name with his own working. so if a person wins, then he thank God for giving the support.
